I am the lab manager and one of three technicians in the Schindler Lab. I am in charge of basic limnological sampling on Lake Washington, as well as numerous other projects on local urban lakes. I also read the otoliths for the Alaska salmon program and help graduate students run and manage their samples. I am also a musician.

I work as a technician in the Schindler lab, helping graduate students run their samples and updating the database. In the summers I work in the Wood River system, managing a long-term project on "A" and "C" creek near Camp Nerka. I spent three years in Africa studying Cheetahs, and hope to return in the near future.

I have worked as a technician in the Schindler lab since 2006. I spend my summers collecting limnological and spawning data for the Alaska Salmon Program. I am responsible for the upkeep of a sediment core database for inferring historic salmon production and counting zooplankton from 10 Alaskan lakes. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S in Biology. I worked for the Trophic Cascade group at the University of Wisconsin under Steve Carpenter prior to my current position at the University of Washington.
