Teresa A'mar
Teresa is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Andre Punt in the UW's Quantitative Ecology and Resource Management (QERM) program. Her dissertation project involves simulation testing and management strategy evaluations of marine fisheries.
Teresa completed her M.S. degree at UW in June 2004, also working with Andre Punt in the QERM program. Her thesis was titled: "Quantifying Error and Uncertainty in Fishery Stock Assessment Models". Her thesis topics included model evaluation, comparison, and selection using AIC, BIC, and DIC; and evaluating the performance of minimum stock size threshold (MSST) definitions used in determining overfishing status and possible management actions.
