FISH 530—Application of Bioenergetics Models to Research and Management

Many questions in conservation and management of aquatic resources involve trophic interactions. In this course, students learn to construct bioenergetics models for fish and invertebrates and apply these to a wide array of management and research questions about trophic interactions, design supporting studies, and critically examine this approach and others through lecture, literature discussion, computer exercises, and projects.
