This website is a jumping off point for shellfish related educational resources developed within the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington.

Currently two online databases are in the works, documenting the instructional shellfish collection and an Colton Memorial Shellfish Collection.

Several courses in our curriculum cover invertebrates. Biology of Shellfishes is a core course in which students have compiled some great  Species Profiles. Other classes includes Diseases of Aquatic Organisms, Sustainable Aquaculture, and Environmental Physiology.
